Revision: Read the sentences on page 34
1. This lesson introduces the word ‘has’.
2. Trace over the word ‘Has’ with a capital letter and the word ‘has’ without a capital letter, then print them again on the line.

3. Turn to page 36.
4. Pick up a blue pencil and underline the word ‘Has’ or
‘has’ in every sentence.
5. Say each word as you underline it.
6. Point to each word as you read the sentences. If you
cannot read a word and you cannot sound it out, use
these clues:
a) What sound does the word begin with?
b) Use the picture clue.
7. Glue page 36 into your scrapbook.
Word Hunt: Look in your favourite story books and see if you can find the word ‘has’ printed there. Does the word have a capital letter or not?
