Revision: Read the sentences on page 26.

Note to tutor:
1. Pointing to the caption under the house say to your child (using letter names) ‘o’ (oh) and ‘u’ (you) together say (using the sound) ‘ou’ as in house.
2. Pointing to the word house, sound it out, h-ou-se, and then blend it into the word house. (house has a silent ‘e’)
3. Ask your child to point to each word in the caption under the picture of the house as he/she reads, ‘ou’ as in house.
1. Write ou in the space in each of the following words.
2. Sound out the word and read it to your tutor.
