Lesson Eight: Challenge number eight:

Can you remember how to spell the words from Lesson Seven?

1. To see if you remember when to use to, too or two, your tutor will say a
sentence with one of the words in it and ask you to write the word used in
that sentence. Was it to, too or two?
(Note to tutor: It is a good idea to have five or six sentences with no set order so the children cannot pick up the pattern)
2, Check your progress. If you need help your tutor will decide which
activities will be best for you.
3. Ask your tutor to call out any difficult words you have in your special
container.
4. Check your progress. Tick the words you have spelt correctly
and put a cross next to the words you still need to learn.
5. Take out of the special container any words which were tested
and you got correct. Give yourself a ‘v’ for victory sign for every word you
were able to take out.!! Well done.

these words.

9. Write a sentence using the word won.

10. Divide into pairs and, taking it in turns, read your sentences to your
partner. Discuss each sentence as it is read to decide if the word has
