Lesson Six: Challenge number six:
Can you remember how to spell the words from Lesson Five?
1. Ask your tutor to call out the words you revised in Lesson 5,
plus any difficult words you have in your special container.
2. Check your progress. Tick the words you have spelt correctly
and put a cross next to the words you still need to learn.
3. Write the words you still need to learn on separate pieces of
paper and put them in the special container. When you have a
few moments look at these words and learn how to spell them.
Your tutor will test them again later.
4. Take out of the special container any words which were tested
and you got correct. Give yourself a high five for every word you
were able to take out.!! Good work.

Interesting Extra:
8. Other words also have “y” as in sky in them. Can you find any in the
following questions?
Write them in the rectangle.
Would a dry sty be a good place to hide a pie?
Will a fly fry in the sky if it flies to the sun?
Would a shy caterpillar cry if it flew on a kite?
Will a dog on a log try to sit by a BIG, sly frog?
9. Using words from the rectangle write two nonsense sentences of your own.
(Don’t forget the capital letter and the full stop or question mark)
