What has wheels?
1. This lesson is a comprehension exercise and
consolidates the word ‘wheels’.
2. Trace over the word ‘wheels’ then print it again on the
line.

3. Turn to page 38.
4. Pick up an orange pencil and draw a fence around the
word ‘wheels’ in every sentence.
5. Say each word as you underline it.
6. Point to each word as you read the sentences. If you
cannot read a word and you cannot sound it out, use
these clues:
a) What sound does the word begin with?
b) Use the picture clue.
7. Answer the questions by printing ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the
line.
8. Ask your tutor to check your answers.
9. Read the questions to your tutor.
10. Glue page 38 into your scrapbook.
